Engagement: Two-Year Commercial Build

THE BUSINESS

A well-established UK HVAC manufacturer was investing in the next phase of its commercial growth. As customer requirements evolved and technical specifications became increasingly important, the business needed to strengthen leadership, deepen key account capability and create greater consistency across its sales organisation.

The requirement extended beyond filling individual vacancies. The organisation needed to build the commercial capability required to support sustainable growth across the UK and selected end-user markets.

THE MANDATE

Lambull was appointed to support a coordinated two-year commercial build spanning leadership, key account management, specification sales, technical support and regional market coverage.

The engagement extended beyond a series of standalone appointments. Each hire needed to strengthen the wider organisation, complement existing capability and contribute to a more consistent commercial structure across the UK and selected end-user markets.

The mandate was centred on building the depth, leadership and specialist capability required to support the organisation’s continued commercial development.

THE OUTCOME

Over the course of the engagement, Lambull delivered more than 20 strategic appointments across commercial leadership, key account management, specification sales, business development, technical support and project engineering.

The programme created greater depth and consistency across the commercial organisation, strengthening leadership, customer-facing capability and specialist technical coverage.

Half of the first-year programme was completed ahead of schedule, supported by a 2.6:1 interview-to-offer ratio.

The appointments were delivered as part of a connected organisational build rather than as a collection of isolated hires, giving the client a stronger platform from which to support its continued growth

"Extremely professional partner, who delivered exceptional candidates."

Steven is an extremely professional head-hunter. Their vast experience and focus on understanding our business vision helped us develop a clearer recruitment approach, which added tremendous value and therefore positioned them naturally as a true business partner.

We have successfully employed numerous exceptional candidates since working together over the past year, and we are excited to continue collaborating with them to execute a key element of our HR strategy.

"Hard-working, focused and dynamic in his approach, and constantly brings outstanding candidate options to the table for each role"

Stevens' ability to demonstrate an immediate understanding of the candidate market & also the right recruitment structure to sit alongside the business's growth plans meant that, as a company, we had no hesitation in agreeing a 12-month retained services agreement. This was such a successful recruitment drive for us that we were delighted to extend that retained basis out to 24 months.
